The UCLA/Getty Graduate Program in Archaeological and Ethnographic Materials has received a generous grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation intended to help increase diversity in the study and practice of conservation of cultural collections.  The grant will support a four-year pilot program designed to provide materials and a means for outreach to students and recent graduates who are presently underrepresented in conservation[i] and provide support for those students as they prepare for graduate school in conservation.
